Canning Drone Reeds

New drone reeds designed by Ryan Canning, a piper in the Field Marshal Montgomery Pipe Band. These reeds incorporate some of the best elements of other drone reeds. The reed bodies are turned made from a custom-fabricated phenolic cotton laminate. The tenor reeds use a thick rubber bridle and a polycarbonate plastic tongue. The bass reed uses an O-ring bridle and a carbon-fibre tongue. Both types of reeds have a plastic nose clone housing a grub screw that can be used to adjust the pitch of the reed. The screw is adjusted with the included hex key wrench.
