John McLean Allan - Stand Easy

A little rock, a little piping, and a lot of entertainment! John McLean Allan, a native of Scotland now living in Los Angeles, is a very talented multi-intrumentalist and singer-songwriter. In addition to being a first-rate piper and bandsman (former member of the Los Angeles Scots), John has performed with the Chieftains, Korn, and on several TV shows and movies.

This CD is a fusion of commercial songwriting, Celtic music, and Rock and Roll. Both traditional and original songs are presented, with vocals, highland bagpipe, guitars, mandolin, whistles, and drums.
