Korg TM-40 Tuner / Metronome

This new product combines the latest palm-sized tuner - a great inexpensive aid for pipe bands in tuning drones and setting the Low A on chanters - with a fully-functional metronome. Also useful as an individual reference. Improvements in this model include easier pitch setting (up and down buttons), a wider range (up to 480 Hz!!), greater accuracy (+/- 1 cent). Batteries included.

Here are some instructions I've developed for it's use with pipe bands.

Essentially this is the CA-30 tuner and MA-30 metronome combined into one compact package. The tuner and metronome can operate simultaneously.

The metronome is an inexpensive aid for improving your playing. Output is audio or visual flashes (with a simulated analog arm). The tempo can be set from 40 to 208 beats per minute, set in 1 bpm increments via up / down buttons or by simply tapping the button (the metronome converts your tapping into bpm). Accenting can be set to the first through the seventh beat. Triplet and back-beat accenting can be set. The volume is adjustable (or mute-able), and a flip-up stand is built-in. Batteries are included.
