Soutar Pipe Chanter Reed

Made by Duncan Soutar of St. Andrews in Scotland, these reeds are reliable, easy to manipulate strength-wise, and fit a wide variety of chanters. Their motto - "Nae duff reeds!" I've used them successfully in Soutar, MacLellan, Sinclair, Shepherd, Gibson, Kron, and McCallum chanters, and they work in just about anything. Hemp may need to be added to suit chanters with a sharper top hand or deeper reed seat.
